Hello Lovelies,

Would you pay $250,000 for a bottle of nail polish? I remember the controversy of paying $300 for a snakeskin pedicure — but this figure is in a whole other league — by itself!

AZATURE is currently shaking up not just the “fine-jewelry” world, but the beauty industry — especially amongst the lacquer lovers — with the launch of AZATURE Nail Polish. Did I mention that this baby is the most expensive nail polish in the world?

AZATURE Nail Polish is the latest from the Black Diamond king. Celebrity and royalty designer — bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase “dripping in diamonds” with this ultra-luxe product — to the beauty market.

The black diamond is the ultimate fine jewel. Its combination of beauty, mystery, and sophistication makes it a timeless luxury. One day I thought, ‘why not showcase this style on nails?’ So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry, in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond. I am thrilled to offer this new twist on fine-jewelry!”

But don’t fret my beauty mavens — for all is not lost. In all reality, the majority of the world cannot afford or won’t opt-in at a whopping $250,000 price tag so Azature also created a polish that will contain “a real black diamond,” retailing at  $25. Packaged in a .5 oz / 15 mL diamond shaped bottle — the nail polish is offered in AZATURE signature black and coats on with a glittery sheen that resembles the sparkle of an AZATURE diamond and is available at Fred Segal beginning August 2012.

Azature is best known for honoring his family history by creating superbly-crafted jewelry with fine attention to detail. His twist on uber-luxury sustains the AZATURE commitment to excellence, updating it with a modern sensibility while still keeping it outrageously chic. All AZATURE black diamond pieces are crafted from hand-selected jewels with each showing an uncompromising commitment to quality, creativity and personal attention. AZATURE can be found in Dover Street Market – London, Harvey Nichols – Saudia Arabia, Roseark – West Hollywood and globally through the AZATURE white glove atelier service.

What do you think? Would you be intrigued to try this new expensive innovation?
